Trekking 
You can hike around Mountain Frías and the Anita Valley on your own or in the company of one of our host guides. 


Mountain Bike
You can follow unique trails and paths through the Anita Valley, on your own or in the company of one of our host guides. 


Birdwatching
We offer to discover a variety of birds in this surprising habitat. Walking along with a host guide, you can watch the typical fauna of the area.

Cerro Frias Horseback Riding
The tour begins at EOLO with 2 main options: a rise uphill Mountain Frías; after approximately 30 minutes you’ll get significant views of the Centinela Valley River, Torres del Paine (Chile’s National Park’s main attraction) and fauna of the area. The other option is a ride downhill towards the Flamingo Lagoon. The tour can be enjoyed both in the morning and in the afternoon, in the company of one of our host guides.

Mountain Frias 4x4 Excursion 
The activity takes place at Estancia Alice, where EOLO is located. The tour starts at the northeast face of Mountain Frías, with major views of the Lake Argentino, Devil’s Throat, Torres del Paine, Mountain Fitz Roy, Centinela Valley, Buenos Aires Mountain, among others. It can be done in the morning as well as in the afternoon.

Difficulty level: low


Mountain Frias zip-wire
The activity takes place at Estancia Alice, where EOLO is located. The tour starts at the south face of Mountain Frías, in the platform where the guides will help put on the necessary equipment to slide down the 470 mts of wire down to the base. During the tour you can appreciate the south branch of Lake Argentino, Torres del Paine, Centinela Valley, Buenos Aires Mountain, among others.

Duration: 2 hours
Age range established by the operating company: 6 to 60 years old

> Transportation. The port can be accessed by regular bus or minibus, in a private transfer or in your own vehicle or a rental car.

Main Activities at Los Glaciares National Park


Perito Moreno Glacier
It is a 60 km drive (1 hour aprox.) bordering the Rico Branch of Lake Argentino. The road ends in the Perito Moreno Glacier’s main watch point, located inside Los Glaciares National Park. You can venture into the main attraction simply by walking on the catwalks, strategically distributed for you to appreciate the scenery from several different angels.

There is an option of a 45-minute boat ride through the north as well as the south face of the Glacier.

Duration: 4 to 7 hours.

Minitrekking (Hike on the Perito Moreno Glacier)
It is a 55 km drive (55 minutes aprox.) bordering the Rico Branch of Lake Argentino. You reach the Bajo de las Sombras pier, boarding area to cross over the lake. After a 20 minutes navigation through the south face of the Glacier, the guides welcome the passengers and divide them into groups of 20 people.  There is a half an hour walk through the forest to the glaciers foot, where the guides put the crampons on the footwear. An hour and a half walk on the ice will surprise you with unimaginable wonders. You’ll then return through the forest to a small refuge, where you have spare time for lunch and then return to the pier. From there, you can continue in a vehicle to the glacier’s main watch point and tour around its catwalks.

Big Ice (Hike inside the Perito Moreno Glacier)
It is a 60 km drive (1 hour aprox.) bordering the Rico Branch of Lake Argentino.. The road ends in the Perito Moreno Glacier’s main watch point, located inside Los Glaciares National Park. You will then return 5 km to Puerto Bajo de las Sombras pier. After a 20 minutes navigation through the south face of the Glacier, the guides welcome the passengers and divide them into groups of 10 people. There is an hour hike in the forest and moraine, up to the most appropriate area to access the glacier. The guides help to put the crampons on the footwear and lead the tour through the center of the glacier, taking some time off to have lunch on the ice. The hike back is the same one, and back to EOLO.

Estancia Cristina and Upsala Glacier
It is a 20 km drive to the Punta Bandera pier, located inside Los Glaciares National Park. You’ll navigate the north branch of Lake Argentino towards the occidental front of the Upsala Glacier and then you’ll continue towards the Cristina Channel to reach the Ranch at noon and begin the activities, with a visit to the Upsala Viewpoint. The access to and from the Upsala watch point is in 4x4 vehicles. On the way back, you can visit the Estancia’s Museum (old sheering shed).

There is another option of navigation through the north branch of Lake Argentino towards Herminita Peninsula, where you start a trekking of 5 hours and a half (round trip) to the Patagonian Ice Viewpoint, to see the occidental front of the Upsala Glacier and the ice barrier in the Upsala Channel. Trail Length: 10 KM.

Duration: full day (12 hours)
Difficulty level: low (4x4) and medium (trekking)


All Glaciers Navegation
All Glaciers: It is a 20 km drive to the Punta Bandera pier, located inside Los Glaciares National Park. The activity starts by taking a boat to the North Branch of Lake Argentino, visiting different glaciers inside the National Park. The trip takes 7 hours, sailing between great and striking icebergs towards the Upsala, Spegazzini, Perito Moreno and Seco Glacier.

Ice Rivers: an alternative option would be a navigation towards the ice barrier of the Upsala Channel, the Spegazzini Glacier and return to Punta Bandera Pier.

El Chalten
Located at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy and Torre Mountain. It is the national capital of trekking and a classic stop for nature lovers.

Distance between EOLO and El Chalten: 240 km, 2:30 hours aprox.

Marpatag
It is a 20 km drive to Punta Bandera pier, located inside Los Glaciares National Park. The navigation starts with northwest direction towards the Ice Barrier in the Upsala Channel (that momentarily prevents the approach to the Glacier of the same name). You’ll then continue towards the Spegazzini Glacier, where you’ll enjoy lunch in front of the 80 to 135 mts tall walls. You’ll then visit the Puesto de las Vacas pier where you can get off the boat and make a small 30 minutes walk.

Glaciarium
It is an interpretation center that offers the Patagonian visitors an interactive vision, where the Patagonic Ice and the glaciers from the region are the main characters. It stimulates the visual experience, creates a space dedicated to investigation, generates entertainment with scientific value, spreads information about the latest investigations about glaciers and offers a message about environmental consciousness. 

Duration: 3 hours aprox.


Flyfishing
It is an activity that takes place at the Lake Roca, Lake Argentino and Santa Cruz River with the assistance of specialized guides. Some of the species found in the area are: Rainbow Trout, Salmon Chinook, among others.

Duration: half day or full day (from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)

Nibepo Aike Ranch
It is a 56 km drive (50 minutes aprox.) through the old road until you reach Nibepo Aike, located inside Los Glaciares National Park. You get a chance of visiting a Patagonic Ranch, know about the rural activities and enjoy a typical patagonic lamb barbecue.
